Name of the hometown : Klang, Selangor

Reasons for choosing the topic :
Klang is a fast developing city and also a historical place. War had taken place before during the British administration time when tin trade was growing fast. By the way, the three main races of citizens here play important roles in the development of Klang now. Cultures of each religion and race are strongly built along the days. There are plenty of interesting topics and aspects to be focused on such as the food, culture, architecture, lifeStyle of the people around etc. We believe Klang is the right place for us to explore.

Ideation of the project :
What we have planned is to have a visit to Klang. We are going to spend 2 days there collecting information for our content. The application has a loading page of the map of Klang with a simple animation. There are routes to the 4 links (food, culture, architecture, lifestyle). Navigate the mouse following the route and it links u to the page. A suitable song will be chosen as the welcome audio to start the application.

We are going to shoot with our cameras and walk around the streets of Klang. The photos are needed to do an image slideshow. On the slideshow layout, only pictures which the mouse scroll over are zoomed in for clearer view. There are captions pop up when u move the mouse over on the picture. The pictures will explode into pieces with sound effect when u finish viewing it.

There will be a short clip editted using Adobe Premiere of the people's lifestyle. Besides, each page will have content describing each main point to let the user have a brief understanding about it.

About the food, we'll try on the food and interview some people for their comments. All these will be played in our application. Also, we provide the map or the address for user information.

The layout is going to be very funky and chicky with bright attractive colours to make the impression that Klang is fun and to convey the message 'Welcome to visit!'.
